FINALLY, WE DID WELL!
TDLR: Singapore at 1 time reached #4, finished at #9. Best Performing player was Feng, ranked at #8 at end of the team games, and had qualified to play at top 16 elimination round. Unfortunately, Feng got knocked out at semi-finals so his overall ranking remained unchanged, at #8. Last year best performing player, Simon didn’t do so well this time, at #83. On the other hand, Eric and Lance managed #24 & 26 respectively.
General
After a selection trial consisting of 10 games, that lasted 2.5 months, Eric Toh, Eric Quek, Feng & Simon were selected to play for IORMC 2018. Eric Toh have to be subbed out by Lance as he is no longer able to make it for the tournament. This year IORMC has 84 participants with 21 countries! Debut country, and unknown to some of us, Belarus (in between Russia & Poland) produced an IORMC champion! Hong Kong took first place in the team result.
