Now that we have a website, I wish to shift all news, updates, announcements, polls and discussion to this website. With the comment function, it becomes a lot easier for everyone to voice out any concern or to even trash talk. Unless there are issues to be kept more in private, then e-mail will be used.
The only issue is with session reports, whereby players’ names will be shown. Personally, I am fine with this and the Europeans do it too like this – http://mahjong-europe.org/ranking/rcr.html In view of publicity, I do support having our names to be displayed so that viewers can see how does our session reports look like. However, I fully understand how some may feel uncomfortable with this and hence, a poll has been created to survey your response towards this.
The safest option is probably having session report to be password-protected which I will email everyone the password. It will be the same password for all session reports post. The deadline of the poll is 15 December 2013. The session report for 8 December 2013 will still be by e-mail.
If the option for “no” is under the minority, I shall go with password-protected (if there are people choosing this option unless everyone else is opting for display of names). Please e-mail me if you are extremely uneasy about or strongly object the idea of password-protected posts.
Looking forward to have our session up on our website!
