Please note that there is a session this coming Sunday. It was a new session. Previously this date was not mentioned in the “NEXT SESSION” column.
From this coming session onward, as long as there is enough time (around 1.5hour) we will play an extra official game. If there is no need for switching of players between the MCR and Riichi section, the next game will starts 5mins after the last table finish their game.
Payment will be as usual for the extra game.
In addition, this coming session 11 October, MCR section is starting a short learning/discussion session at 12:45. The topic of discussion will be on Chiitoitsu. Feel free to attend it if you would like to. Just come by 12:45.
This learning session is targeted at immediate players, something that proposed to Edwin. As much as I would like to do the same for Riichi, it is not quite possible for now. My own plan of implementing it for Riichi is when I start reading a Mahjong book, picking up a few topics good for discussion and then share with everyone. If any players has any topics in Riichi that they would like to know more in depth, please let me know. In the mean time I can slowly gather topics and form a syllabus of sort.
