Chombo Penalty
In an event of chombo, the offender or his partner, whoever has lower score will pay 12k to opponent who has the lower score of the pair. This penalty is to prevent tactical chombo of players delaying the game to secure their position or if there are no more time for 1 more hand to be played. 12k is derived from a ideal yet not so far fetched situation: 1st place: 50k 2nd place: 30k 3rd/4th: 10k.
Tie break situations
- If both teams tie at 4th place, the team who has a player at 1st, will take 1st+3rd.
- If both teams tie at 1st place, the team who has a player at 4th, will 2nd+4th.
- If both teams tie at 2nd and 3rd place, the team who has a player at 4th, will take 3rd + 4th.
- If both teams tie at 1st 2nd 3rd 4th, both team will get 1.5 TP.
- Uma will be applied the same way as how we apply for WRC rules
Choosing your wind seat
During the tournament, only 1 person from each pair will choose the seat. Please pick the player who will be taking either East or South. 1 player will do the shuffling of ton & nan, opponent will pick the tile.

- Lunch might be provided.
- If there is any cock up in timing, we will play only 6 games. If there are auto mj tables, we will look into squeezing 8th game if we can finish a game in less than an hour.
- If player(s) have any strong objection to the rules implemented, we will make the changes accordingly.
