Would like to share with everyone about this!
It is possible to join the European Riichi Mahjong Championship (ERMC) even though we are not in Europe.
It will be under the quota of “rest of the world”. I don’t know how many quota they allocate though. Worth a try if anyone is interested.
Date: 7th October to 9th October
Venue: Farnham, London
Price: 95 GBP (around 195 SGD) Bona fide full time student entrants may apply to the organisers for a discretionary 25% reduction of this fee
Games: 12 Han-chans
Format: 10 rounds of round-robin to select top 16 players.
Rules: I think they use EMA rules which can be found here – http://mahjong-europe.org/
Registration is individual since we do not have a national association, please email gemma@reachmahjong.com by end of January. This is not registration deadline but just a “make contact” deadline.

Would be good if any interested players can keep me in the loop so that I can coordinate interested players together (some may only want to sign up for it if he/she is not alone).
