In view of the latest session of hitting 5 tables and space constraint, weekly club session will be restricted to the first 22 players who register. Although it has become first-register first serve, in some way, it should be still alright to register on the day before session. We are not hitting 22 so soon yet neither it will be frequent but it is perhaps not so advisable to register at like around 11pm+ the day before session. The reason why it is capped at 22 instead of 20 is to retain the incentive for players to attend the club session punctually. If we have very few latecomers in the next few session, a limit of 21 players will be considered. The 23rd and onwards players who registered will get an e-mail acknowledge stating that the session is full and therefore not accepted.
The Jansou-rule tournament registration has begin. Those who are not familiar with Jansou rules (the main thing is about the shuugi), there will be a short practice game right before we start the tournament on the day itself so don’t worry about it. It is quite easy to understand. As for the scoring that looks complicated, don’t worry, it is not difficult to learn on the day itself as well. Just know that it is similar to league in the sense, it is 1st place emphasis.
