The Asean-Oceania Riichi Mahjong Association (AORMA) is back, with 3 more countries, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand joining us!
Schedule
Date: Every 2nd Sunday of every month, starting from 12th May
Time: 3:30~7:30 pm
We will have 1 AORMA tournament by end of this year and the league session will take place once a month till the end of this year. Each league session will have 4 han-chan.
Players Ranking
The first 8 sessions will be round-robin. Players will be matched randomly with different countries with our best effort. After that, we will split the players ranking based on the top 30% and the bottom 70%. From 3rd session and onwards, players will be matched randomly amongst the top 30% players. Same goes to the bottom 70% players. Basically, this is like AORMA’s Joukyuu and Tokujou.
Players will only be ranked after they reach 8 games. So if you have joined at the later stage of the league, you will be playing in the bottom 70% players till you reach 8 games for ranking.
This time, the players are ranked based on sum of total net score from your individual han-chan. 2 worst han-chan will be removed. I.e Reach 8 games for a ranking based on your 6 best games.

Mahjong Rules
Most rules will follow Tenhou’s default rule except that there will be no oka (no shanyu), no tobi and no agariyame. Uma is 10/30.
Registration
There are 2 registration forms. 1 is for the session and 1 is a one-time AORMA member registration. (same to SMC’s newcomer/session registration differentiation). So every time you wish to join the session for that month, just register for the session registration form only. Once you have filled up for AORMA member registration, you do not need to do so anymore. And this is compulsory if you would like to join any AORMA events. Please also input your proper name + surname for AORMA member registration form.

Registration timing: Priority goes to players who registered by 2pm.
